Finding the right grief support group can feel overwhelming, especially when every loss and healing journey is unique. We understand that it’s not always easy to know where you’ll feel most comfortable or supported.
This guide is designed to help you navigate our offerings and find a group that aligns with your current stage of grief—so you can connect, heal, and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
🌿 Grief Support Groups
Find the support that meets you where you are
🌳 Tier 1: Recent Loss Support
(Loss within the last 18 months)
Tier 1 groups are created for individuals who are navigating the early days of grief—when emotions can feel especially intense, unpredictable, and isolating. These sessions provide a safe, structured, and compassionate space where participants are gently supported as they begin processing their loss.
In these groups, you can expect to:
- Share your story at your own pace
- Learn practical coping strategies for daily life
- Gain insight into common grief responses
- Receive emotional support from others who understand early loss
Each session is guided by trained facilitators who help foster meaningful conversation, emotional safety, and gentle progression through the grief experience.
Groups meet regularly, and consistent attendance is encouraged to build trust, connection, and personal growth.

🌳🌳 Tier 2: Open Support
Tier 2 groups are designed for individuals who are further along in their grief journey and are seeking continued connection without the structure of a formal curriculum. These groups offer a flexible, welcoming environment where participants can come and go as needed.
These sessions are ideal if you:
- Want ongoing support without a long-term commitment
- Are looking to reconnect during difficult times or anniversaries
- Value shared conversation and mutual encouragement
- Prefer a more relaxed, discussion-based setting
While still facilitated, Tier 2 groups are less structured, allowing space for open dialogue, shared experiences, and peer support.
Meetings are held less frequently and follow a drop-in format, making it easier to participate when it fits your schedule.

These gatherings are especially helpful if you:
- Are seeking connection and community after initial stages of grief
- Want to rebuild routine and engagement in daily life
- Prefer activity-based or social forms of support
- Enjoy sharing space with others in a low-pressure setting
Activities may include:
- Coffee meetups and casual conversations
